Criterion offers a modern, flexible, and configurable Human Capital Management platform designed for mid-sized organizations.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to follow these Terms. If you're not on board, please don't use the Services.

You may use our Services only if you have the legal authority and capacity to do so, and in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or content.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the performance or security of the Services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we believe you're misusing the Services.

Security & SOC 2 Alignment

Security is foundational to our platform. We implement robust SOC 2-aligned controls, such as:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest.
  • Role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Secure development practices, vulnerability monitoring, and incident response protocols.

Third-Party Services & Integrations

Criterion integrates seamlessly with platforms like Acumatica, Sage Intacct, Procore, and others via RESTful APIs. We may also include third-party links or tools to enhance your experience.

We do not control—and are not responsible for—third-party content or practices.

Availability & Changes

Our goal: deliver a flexible, modern, always-on experience. Still, we do not guarantee uninterrupted Service or that ch.ai, ESS, Payroll, or other modules will always be error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, with or without notice.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all express or implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a specific purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Criterion HCM (and its affiliates, employees, partners) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages—like loss of data, profits, or business—arising from your use or inability to use the Services.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Criterion HCM from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal disputes must be resolved in the courts of Connecticut.
